About Me
I’m a licensed Producer with JMP Insurance Services, dedicated to helping clients understand their risk exposure and advising appropriate insurance to protect from catastrophic losses on covered perils. With 20 years in the insurance industry, I’m passionate about protecting my clients’ assets and preventing substantial losses.
Professional Background
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from the University of California and a Master’s Degree in Telecommunications Management from Golden Gate University. I ran my own insurance agency for 20 years before joining JMP Insurance Services, bringing extensive entrepreneurial experience and client focused expertise to our team.
Expertise & Specialties
I am a Property/Casualty and Life licensed insurance agent since 2005. Additionally, I hold Series 6 and 63 licenses as a financial investment professional, which allows me to help clients grow their assets by setting up IRAs, Annuities, 529 plans, whole life insurance, and other financial products. This dual expertise in protection and growth gives me a comprehensive perspective on securing and building wealth.
What drew me to insurance was personal experience. I have a portfolio of real estate assets and was researching how best to protect those assets through corporate entities like LLCs and insurance products. I discovered that many of my friends and family had similar challenges with getting appropriate coverage recommendations. I decided to become an insurance agent to better protect my community’s hard earned assets in addition to my own.

I was born in Guangzhou, China, immigrated to Hong Kong, and then to the United States. I’ve lived in San Francisco since 1979 and have deep roots in the Bay Area community.
I love vacationing with my family all over the world, experiencing new cultures and destinations. I’m also handy around the house and enjoy tinkering on cars. During the warm months, you’ll find me hiking and biking, and in winter, I’m on the slopes skiing and snowboarding. I genuinely enjoy meeting new people and making new friends.
Here’s a fun fact: I can rebuild old school pocket watches! It’s a skill that requires patience and precision, much like the work I do in insurance.
And yes, I enjoy both coffee and tea, and I’m definitely a night owl.
