Factors that may affect coverage availability include:

Occupation

Other underwriting factors
5.5 Policy Issuance and Binding
Coverage does not become effective until:
Your application is approved by the insurance carrier
Payment is received (if required)
A policy is issued or binding confirmation is provided
The effective date stated in the policy documents
REQUESTING A QUOTE OR SUBMITTING AN APPLICATION DOES NOT CREATE INSURANCE COVERAGE. Until coverage is bound, you remain responsible for maintaining any existing insurance or accepting the risk of being uninsured.

Agency Fees: We may charge separate fees for certain services. Any such fees will be clearly disclosed to you in writing before services are rendered. You will have the opportunity to decline services for which additional fees apply.
8.3 Payment Processing

12.1 Policy Governs Coverage
THESE TERMS GOVERN YOUR RELATIONSHIP WITH JMP INSURANCE SERVICES LLC. YOUR INSURANCE COVERAGE IS GOVERNED BY THE TERMS, CONDITIONS, EXCLUSIONS, AND LIMITATIONS OF THE INSURANCE POLICY ISSUED BY THE CARRIER.
In the event of any conflict between these Terms and your insurance policy:
The insurance policy controls with respect to coverage matters
These Terms control with respect to your use of our Services
12.2 Carrier Independence
Insurance carriers are independent third parties. We do not control and are not responsible for:
Carrier underwriting decisions or guidelines
Policy terms, conditions, or exclusions
Premium rates or rate changes
Policy cancellations or non-renewals
Claims handling, decisions, or settlements
Carrier financial strength or solvency
Carrier customer service or responsiveness
12.3 Policy Review
YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR REVIEWING YOUR INSURANCE POLICY DOCUMENTS CAREFULLY. When you receive your policy:
Review all terms, conditions, exclusions, and limitations
Verify that coverage meets your needs and expectations
Check that all information is accurate
Contact us immediately if you have questions or concerns
Contact us immediately if you identify any errors or discrepancies
Most insurance policies have a "free look" period during which you can cancel for a full refund if you are not satisfied.
13. Dispute Resolution and Arbitration

Arbitration Award: The arbitrator's decision will be final and binding. Judgment on the award may be entered in any court of competent jurisdiction.
13.3 Exceptions to Arbitration
Either party may bring a lawsuit in court instead of arbitration for:
Claims in small claims court, if they qualify
Claims seeking injunctive or equitable relief to protect intellectual property rights
Claims to enforce or challenge the validity of this arbitration provision
13.4 Class Action Waiver
YOU AND JMP INSURANCE AGREE THAT DISPUTES WILL BE RESOLVED ONLY ON AN INDIVIDUAL BASIS AND NOT AS A CLASS ACTION, CONSOLIDATED ACTION, OR REPRESENTATIVE ACTION.
Neither you nor JMP Insurance may participate as a class member in any class action or representative proceeding. The arbitrator may not consolidate or join the claims of multiple parties.
If this class action waiver is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the entire arbitration provision will be null and void, and any Dispute will be resolved in court.
13.5 Opt-Out of Arbitration
You have the right to opt-out of this arbitration provision by sending written notice to us within 30 days of first accepting these Terms. Your notice must include:

A clear statement that you wish to opt-out of arbitration

You may be able to manage your policies directly with the insurance carrier after termination. Contact the carrier for information about policy servicing options.
16. General Provisions
16.1 Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any other policies or agreements referenced herein or presented to you when using specific Services, constitute the entire agreement between you and JMP Insurance Services LLC regarding your use of our Services.
16.2 Amendments
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by:
Posting the updated Terms on our website
Updating the "Last Updated" date at the top
Sending you an email notification (if you have provided your email address)
Providing notice through our Services
